I. Survey Says 268,740 IT Jobs Vacant

Surveys recently released by the Gartner Group and the Computer Technology Industry Association show that the IT skills shortage is creating golden opportunities for professionals with information technology skills and certifications. CompTIA’s survey estimated 268,740 IT jobs are currently available. Other findings of the survey: Nearly half of the CIOs surveyed are willing to pay a higher salary to an individual who completes an industry-supported certification.
